An Upper Lake contributor has requested a link to the blogspot for the Roots & Wings Foundation HEREShe has been closely associated with the founders of R&WF for more than 20 years (you can find a photo of her Lake County walnut orchard posted there). The Roots & Wings Foundation collects and posts images and words from the ancients as well as modern thinkers, all on the topic of "what does it mean to be a human being?" You will find much food for thought and nourishment for the soul on the R&W pages.
